The Assyrian Cultural Association of Canada

Nohra Radio, Nohra Magazine and Nohra Assyrian Media Online

The Assyrian Cultural Association of Canada was established in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1997 so that the ancient Assyrian culture and  proud ancestral language may be preserved and maintained.

The Assyrian Cultural Association of Canada - Nohra Assyrian Media Online is  a self-sufficient Assyrian media association that is  independent of all political, ideological or religious organizations and/or movements.

The Assyrian Cultural Association of Canada is committed to serving the various diverse Assyrian communities throughout the Diaspora. In order to accomplish this efficiently and effectively, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of journalistic integrity. We support democratic ideals and the freedom of speech, with the caveat that no fundamental personal  rights of any individual, race or cultural group are infringed upon. Works with prejudicial material, racist vocabulary or images, or  explicitly graphic  images or vocabulary of a violent or sexual nature are strict ly prohibited.  The Assyrian Cultural Association of Canada promotes and endorses these policies throughout all associated endeavours, including Nohra Radio, Nohra Magazine and Nohra Assyrian Media Online.
